Outside researchers are much more measured in describing the significance of the discovery.<\/p>\n<p>Anthropic published the reports on Thursday <a href=\"https:\/\/assets.anthropic.com\/m\/ec212e6566a0d47\/original\/Disrupting-the-first-reported-AI-orchestrated-cyber-espionage-campaign.pdf\">here<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.anthropic.com\/news\/disrupting-AI-espionage\">here<\/a>. In September, the reports said, Anthropic discovered a \u201chighly sophisticated espionage campaign,\u201d carried out by a Chinese state-sponsored group, that used <a href=\"https:\/\/www.claude.com\/product\/claude-code\">Claude Code<\/a> to automate up to 90 percent of the work.
