Dozens of subreddits have already agreed to disallow the sharing of any links to X, with moderators (volunteer Reddit users) agreeing to enforce the bans.<\/p>\n<p>The trend seemed to start among subreddits focused on sports-related topics, like the subreddits for the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/nfl\/comments\/1i6ne3o\/twitter_and_rnfl\/?utm_source=embedv2&amp;utm_medium=post_embed&amp;utm_content=whitespace&amp;embed_host_url=https:\/\/mashable.com\/article\/sports-subreddits-push-to-ban-x-links-after-elon-musk-salute\">NFL<\/a>, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/canucks\/\">Vancouver Canucks<\/a> NHL team, and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/LiverpoolFC\/comments\/1i6gym0\/proposal_to_ban_xcom_links\/?utm_source=embedv2&amp;utm_medium=post_embed&amp;utm_content=whitespace&amp;embed_host_url=https:\/\/mashable.com\/article\/sports-subreddits-push-to-ban-x-links-after-elon-musk-salute\">Liverpool Football Club<\/a>, as reported by <a href=\"https:\/\/mashable.com\/article\/sports-subreddits-push-to-ban-x-links-after-elon-musk-salute\">Mashable<\/a>.
