130% return earned on just 100 trades by tradinglab by using their double ema + supertrend intraday trading strategy. This youtube channel has a subscriber base of around 2 million. So, I decided to backtest for 1 year by using also, this double ema + supertrend intraday trading strategy of TradingLab as to verify their so huge Returns claim and also as some of my followers have requested me to backtest any strategy for 1 year which is based upon supertrend indicator.

This intraday trading strategy can be used on stocks, index, forex, crypto, etc. For this strategy we will go to the trading view 15 minute timeframe, then put double ema indicator and supertrend indicator with the settings that I have guided in the video.Then, when the candles are above the double ema, and simultaneously, supertrend also gives BUY signal, then we take the long position on the close of the candle where supertrend gave BUY signal, with stoploss at the supertrend line and target is not fixed for this intraday strategy, we will trail the profits until supertrend gives SELL signal. The reverse of this we will do for doing short selling.

I have backtested this intraday trading strategy for 1 year using python code by creating an algo for this strategy and historical data for backtest was taken from dhan broker API.

This intraday strategy has given an annual return of 60%,initial capital taken is 1 lakh, winning trades were 42%, and i have also shown the equity curve of this strategy, drawdown curve showing maximum drawdown of 28% and PnL distribution chart in the video.

Now I can convert this trading strategy into an algo so that trades get executed automatically.
