This is part 1 of a short tutorial on using Google Apps Script to make your life as a teacher easier. The tools are flexible enough and simple enough to use that you will be enabled to do things that you wouldn’t have done before.

In this short video we set up the actual folders, using gClassFolders (by Bjorn Behrendt.)
This needs to be done once per class, but after, you can use this spreadsheet to automatically put documents into the individual files.

Steps not clearly shown.

1. create a google spreadsheet.
2. click on tools, click on script gallery, then click on education.
3. You are good to go.

I assume you have a list of students with google app emails.
