In today’s Weekly SMC Outlook, we’re breaking down the DXY, EURUSD, GBPUSD, gold, silver, WTI crude oil, Nasdaq, and Bitcoin as markets sit at a major decision point.
DXY is still bullish overall, but next week comes down to whether the dollar can hold key support or needs one more pullback first.
EURUSD is still bearish for me, but I’m watching for relief into premium before looking for the next short setup.
GBPUSD is similar to the euro, with sellers still in control but price sitting too low for me to justify shorts without a move higher first.
Gold remains in trouble after losing its yearly open, and I’m watching for relief into premium before looking for another short toward lower levels.
Silver is also still bearish, with the market holding below key levels and the larger $48 area still on my radar if the downtrend continues.
WTI is getting interesting near the origin of the breakout, and I’m watching for a possible change of character that could set up a much larger move higher.
Nasdaq is starting to look top heavy with a possible diamond top forming, and a confirmed breakdown could open the door to much lower prices.
Bitcoin is still holding below the key $60K area, and unless BTC can reclaim it, my target remains the mid-$40K region.
