Coding with Odin and Assembly – Development Update #3

This video documents the further progress of ‘The Flax Project‘. It covers what’s new, what’s changed, and what is planned to be tackled next. This video is a little shorter than others since most of the last week was spent purely on updating the systems manual to match what’s already complete and even some of the things coming next. As always, it is an honest, transparent look at our code, both Odin and Assembly, and there are some notable improvements as we get more comfortable with Odin and learn how to best implement our ideas.

About Flax:
Flax is a high-speed assembly language, compiler, and runtime engine originally designed for use in education, for teaching low-level programming concepts without the danger of bricking the machine with native assembly. Flax is licensed as ‘Freeware’ and when finished will be made available for anyone to use for personal or educational use. There may be a charge for business use, but that will be assessed on a case-by-case basis and may even be waived. Email us to discuss your requirements.
