CPI day is here. Yesterday at the close, Bitcoin finished at $83,101.99 — above $83,000, the only one of our three tracked coins to reclaim its level. Cardano closed at $0.23571, still below its $0.242 floor; Ether closed at $2,495.83, below $2,530.28, even after a wick to $2,535.30. This morning BTC sits near $83,302. At 8: 30 a.m. ET, September inflation lands: consensus expects headline CPI at 3.6% year over year (up from 3.4% in August, driven mostly by energy) and core CPI at 2.5%. Core strips out food and energy, so it shows whether price pressure is spreading. This is the last inflation print before the Fed’s October 27-28 meeting.
