METHOD
20- and 50-day simple moving averages on daily closes; buy on a cross up between two days in a row, sell everything on a cross down; long only. Signal at the close, order at the next day’s open. $1,000 all in, 0.02% fee per side. Prices adjusted for splits and dividends, data to 30 Sep 2026. Picking Apple in 1980 is hindsight, which is why the S&P 500 is shown too.
