BEST DEBUT, THE FARMER WAS REPLACED

This next one is interesting because the game is educational, but it sold more than one hundred
thousand copies during its release weekend. That is wild. And fully deserved.

The Farmer Was Replaced is a game that basically teaches you how to code, using a language
very similar to Python. But even more importantly, it teaches you the
programming mindset. And honestly, that mindset is usually what beginners
struggle with the most. Syntax can be learned from a tutorial. But thinking
like a programmer, breaking problems into steps, testing logic, debugging, that
part is what makes people cry at three in the morning.

As someone who writes scripts for my own indie games, I genuinely appreciate how well this
game explains things through gameplay. It is not trying to turn you into a
senior developer overnight. But it gives you the foundation in a way that feels
accessible and actually fun. I love when games respect players enough to teach
complex things without dumbing everything down.

Fantastic debut. Deserved every sale. #indiegames #thefarmerwasreplaced
