Combination Sum – LeetCode | #leetcode #javascript
In this YouTube Short, we solve the Combination Sum problem using backtracking. The function combinationSum(candidates, target) finds all possible ways to reach the target using given numbers, allowing repeats.
How it works:
We sort the array and use recursion to explore combinations.
If the sum becomes zero, we store the combination.
If it goes negative, we backtrack.
We loop through candidates, adding numbers while ensuring no previous numbers are skipped.
For [2,3,6,7] and target = 7, the result is [[2,2,3], [7]]. This efficient backtracking approach ensures we find all valid combinations! 🚀
