Detect Sandbox in PowerShell #ethicalhacking #powershellscripting #cybersecurity #sandbox #malware

🔍 Can PowerShell detect if your PC is a Sandbox?

In this Short, I show you a simple 5-line PowerShell script that checks the number of logical CPUs to guess whether a system is a real machine or a sandbox/VM.

📌 What you’ll learn:
✅ How to get CPU count using Get-CimInstance
✅ How if-else conditions work in PowerShell
✅ Why malware authors use this technique
✅ A basic example of sandbox detection

⚠️ DISCLAIMER:
This video is for educational and security research purposes only.
Real sandbox detection relies on 10–20+ combined indicators
(RAM, disk size, VM artifacts, usernames, timing, etc.).
CPU count alone is not sufficient. Use this knowledge responsibly.
