A special visit to the Museum of Korean Language

I have been here for 10 years, however I have never visited this museum so I was really excited!

Opened on October 9, 2014, the National Hangeul Museum aims to make the value of Hangeul as a script and cultural asset more widely known.

The museum entrance is a modern reinterpretation of chunyeo, the corner eaves of traditional Korean houses, and symbolizes the future of Hangeul.

The permanent exhibition hall consists of seven themes derived from the preface to Hunminjeongeum, the book that reveals the purpose and principle of creating Hangeul letters.

After seeing the exhibitions, visitors can relax with a drink and enjoy shopping for a wide variety of Hangeul-themed cultural goods.

To promote Hangeul and Hangeul culture-related content at home and abroad, the museum provides educational programs. We have done calligraphy together and also received amazing gifts!
