Risk-On Pause After Strong Run – Bitcoin, U.S. Indices Consolidate

After several days of solid risk-on moves, we’re seeing a bit of a pause this Wednesday morning.

Asset moves this morning:

– Risk-on assets (U.S. Indices, Bitcoin, and others) are relatively unchanged or consolidating after recent gains
– VIX is coming down modestly as fear continues to ease
– The assets we want to see lower (DXY, yields, oil, NATGAS) are down or relatively unchanged

On the 1-hour and 4-hour charts, we’re seeing consolidation and chop after the earlier momentum, with many assets hovering near recent swing highs or psychological round numbers without a clean break of structure.

On the geopolitical front, the ceasefire remains fragile with the U.S. Naval blockade in the Strait of Hormuz now in effect. Diplomatic efforts continue, but clarity is still limited.

Eco Calendar Update – AUD Employment releases at 9: 30pm EST

Yesterday, several Fed speakers delivered balanced remarks, while ECB President Lagarde maintained a cautious stance on higher energy risks and potential growth impacts.

Overall, we’re in a consolidative risk-on pause. The positive momentum from earlier in the week is holding, but traders are waiting for clearer confirmation before committing further.
