Same code, two brokers, two different answers

I run the same system on two brokers. The code is identical. The results are not, and the gap is not a rounding error. ⚠️

When I tested the five minute system on the second broker over the same window, it did not transfer. Spread and fill quality are not a footnote on a strategy, they are an input to it. One of my configurations only makes sense on the tighter feed, and saying so costs me the cleaner story.

So I report each broker separately instead of quoting whichever one flatters the system. It makes the write up longer and less impressive, and it is the only version I would trust if someone handed it to me.

An equity curve with no broker name attached is a screenshot, not evidence. Ask what the spread was.

Educational purpose only. Not financial advice.

Has anyone here tested the same thing and got a different answer?
