In this video, I’ll show you the UT Bot Alerts Indicator Best Settings for a 5-Minute Trading Strategy on TradingView. The default UT Bot Alerts settings can create too many buy and sell signals, especially on lower timeframes, so I’ll show you how to reduce fake signals and make the chart cleaner using tested 5-minute settings.
We’ll set up the UT Bot Alerts indicator by QuantNomad twice on the chart — one version for buy signals and one version for sell signals. Then we’ll add a simple 200 EMA trend filter to help decide which UT Bot signals are worth taking and which ones should be skipped.
In this video, you’ll learn:

The goal of this strategy is not to take every signal. The goal is to filter the weak signals, avoid choppy market conditions, and only focus on the UT Bot buy and sell signals that match the bigger trend.
This strategy can be used as a TradingView indicator setup for Bitcoin, Gold, forex, crypto, and other markets, but always test it first before using it in live trading.
