About The Position:

The Senior QA Software Tester assesses software quality through manual and automated testing. You will
be responsible for finding and reporting bugs and glitches, guaranteeing that each stage and focus of the
software design is tried and any potential issue is distinguished and settled before entering production.
In this role, you should have a keen eye for detail and exceptional communication skills. You should possess
an innate drive to understand our business and how our customers (will) use our products. You must be
excellent in creating and executing test cases and are passionate about quality. Ultimately, you will ensure
that our products, applications, and systems work correctly.

Responsibilities:

• Work to understand how we do business and how our products work to identify inaccuracies.
• Work with our developers to plan our software development projects, developing, incorporating,
and executing test plans (manual and automated) that meet the specs, and more importantly,
work with the dev teams to fill in the gaps where the specs are not sufficient to solve the business
problems.
• Report bugs and errors to development teams, leveraging appropriate tools and methods as
necessary to succinctly impart the defects (e.g., videos, scripts, etc to reproduce).
• Help troubleshoot issues and conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing.
• Work with the dev teams to design our software with the efficient hooks and instrumentation
needed to automate tests, enable synthetic transactions, and performance monitoring.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development
lifecycle.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

• Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar role.
• Ability to script in some language (e.g., Powershell, Python, BASH) or ideally the ability to code in
a language like Python, C#, JavaScript, or similar.
• Be comfortable using SQL to validate in the databases to screen and report results.
• Familiarity with Agile frameworks and SDLC, STLC and defect life cycle.
• Working knowledge of Zephyr test management software, Jira and SQL.
• Experience on Web application testing.
• Familiarity with Postman, API testing, and Automation tools (Selenium, JMeter).
• Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude.
• Proficient with Microsoft Power BI (Data Modelling and Report creation) preferred.
• BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
• Self-starter, independently driven.

• 5+ years of Quality Assurance and Testing experience.
